That is a useful reminder to confirm the current responsibility schedule for your property before approving work or promising it to a tenant.

Ask which organization handles the issue, what the owner must arrange and how a tenant reports it. A community charge should not be treated as a replacement for an interior repair reserve or a private-pool service budget where those apply.

If you are considering a longer tenancy, first confirm that the proposed use and lease term are allowed for the property. Bookings, an existing rental agreement, access procedures and insurance can all affect the timing. No single assumption is safe. The official homeowner information distinguishes association responsibilities and property types. Check the current schedule that applies to your home, townhome or condominium.

Can you arrange management without cancelling existing bookings first?

We can start with a discussion of your current commitments. Do not cancel bookings or terminate an agreement until the contractual position, permitted future use and timing have been reviewed.

Does the resort’s pool service include my private pool?

Do not assume that it does. Community facilities and private equipment can have separate service responsibilities. Obtain written confirmation and budget for any owner-arranged servicing.
