Your Legends home deserves its own rental plan

A home in Legends can be a very different proposition from another house with a Clermont address. If you are moving away or deciding what to do with a home you no longer use, McCormack Realty & Renters Choice Homes can help you work through the letting costs, preparation and ongoing care before you commit.

Legends includes separately named residential plats such as Beacon Ridge, Bridgestone, Dearcroft, Sherbrook, Carrington and Nottingham. The City of Clermont identifies the community clubhouse on Legendary Boulevard. Knowing which part of Legends your house belongs to is useful from the first conversation; the wider community name is not the whole property description.

Keep the village and the house in the picture

Send us the full address and the association paperwork for your particular home. Any community-wide documents should be read alongside the requirements that apply to its village. We can coordinate questions about leasing, access and maintenance, but the association retains its own decisions and responsibilities.

Before advertising, we want to know what a tenant would actually receive. A golf-community address does not automatically include golf membership, a course view or access to every facility. Confirm any proposed benefits and charges for the tenancy rather than carrying them over from an old sale listing.

Show the space honestly

The detached homes represented in Legends include different layouts, so photographs and room descriptions should do more than repeat a bedroom count. If your house has an upstairs office or a downstairs flex room, describe its actual use and access instead of presenting it as an extra bedroom without verification.

A view, screened outdoor area or private pool can be important to the rental presentation when the property actually has it. Record the condition and service needs too. Pool care, irrigation and landscaping need a clear budget and responsibility, not just an attractive photograph.

A handover that works from a distance

Bring recent service records, known repairs and any open warranties into the preparation discussion. We can help separate work needed before marketing from improvements that can wait, with your spending priorities in mind.

After move-in, our management work can include rent collection, inspections with reports, maintenance coordination and online financial reporting. If you already have a tenant, we begin with the current lease, deposit records and unfinished work so nothing falls between the outgoing and incoming arrangements.

Before we talk about your home

  • The street address and Legends village or subdivision name.
  • Current master and any village association documents, plus access information.
  • The existing lease, or your proposed move-out date and repair priorities.

Know the management cost before you decide

Our current promotion gives you the benefits of our 10% management package at an 8% management rate, with a $350 setup fee. The management rate is not the whole cost of letting a home: review the leasing fee, other charges and package terms on our fees page before deciding.

Compare the full package and fees.

Questions from Legends owners

Can one Legends rental description cover every village?

No. The residential plats have separate names, and the home’s layout, position and applicable documents need their own review. A useful listing describes the actual house, not an assumed standard Legends package.

Should golf membership be included in the advertised rent?

Only if the relevant operator and current arrangements confirm that benefit for the tenancy. A home beside a golf course is not evidence of included membership or playing rights.

The address comes first

This guide covers a named Clermont-area community in Lake County, not a determination of municipal boundaries or rental permission for every address. Current governing documents and property-specific checks are needed before agreeing a tenancy.
